The taped neck and shoulders add reinforcement and durability in an area that gets plenty of pulling and stretching during a workday. It also has a classic-width rib collar and a tear-away label. Solid colours are 100% U.S. cotton. That's particularly worth considering for shops where employees may be cutting, grinding or welding and don't want an everyday polyester performance shirt. However, this is important: the Gildan 2000 is not an FR-rated garment and should not replace proper flame-resistant clothing or welding PPE. Heather, Safety, Antique and Sport Grey colours contain polyester, so businesses wanting an all-cotton work shirt should select an appropriate solid 100% cotton colour. Gildan

Safety Green is also ANSI/ISEA 107 high-visibility compliant as a colour/fabric offering, although the shirt itself should not be represented as a complete certified high-visibility garment system without verifying the application requirements.
